Six studios. Six formats. One production team.
In August 2025, Labas Krabas brought together the technical infrastructure and crew for a season commissioned by an internet television platform, filmed in Riga. Within a few days of preparation, six different studios were set up for six programme formats, with two—and at times three—camera crews working simultaneously.
It was more than a single multicamera shoot. The project called for a shared production structure that could support several programmes and teams at the same time: in practical terms, the production base of a small television channel.
Our role
- Technical direction: coordinating the technical production across the studios.
- Equipment provision: supplying the production equipment needed for the shoots.
- Camera crew: bringing our own filming team into the parallel production schedule.
- External contractor management: coordinating other departments and suppliers so their work fitted the overall production.
Making parallel shoots work
With several studios in use, the challenge was keeping people, equipment and preparation aligned. Each format needed a ready-to-shoot space, while the wider schedule had to accommodate crews working in different rooms at the same time.
Our role was to connect these moving parts: technical readiness, crew allocation and the work of external contractors. A common coordination point helped the creative teams focus on the programmes while we managed the practical production requirements.
