Cinematic / Music video · December 2024
A small rented house became the set for Monetochka’s “Vyshe Krysh”. Labas Krabas handled the full music video production, from developing the idea through to the finished film.
Directed by Eugene Sergejenia, with a script written together with Liza Gyrdymova, the project brought our crew together for set design, filming and post-production.
The finished film
Released on Monetochka’s official channel on 31 December 2024.
Turning a house into a film set
We rented a small house and adapted it for the shoot. Hanging clouds, stars and paper garlands became part of the set, alongside a circular stage and the room’s patterned walls and tiled floor.
The work was shared across direction, camera, lighting, set design, costumes and makeup. Bringing those departments together let us build the scenes in the space itself, with the crew working around the performance.
From the shoot to the final cut
Danila Vinnik handled the edit, with colour grading by Sasha Dukhan and sound by Slava Nesmeyanov. The finished video brings the performances, costumes and set together in Monetochka’s New Year release.
